Please take note that Student Care unit will be introducing their services and giving a short orientation talk to the class.

The short orientation Talk will take about 45 mins.

Edge Camp - Pre-Camp Briefing.

There will be a Edge Camp to be held somewhere in couple of weeks/month times after CNY.

This camp require you to stay camping in the school campus for 1 to 2 days.

GCE 'O' Enrichment Talk: English & Maths at MLT on 14 Jan

Please kindly be informed that for those interested to sit for their GCE 'O' English/Maths this year to attend the following enrichment talk.

Date : 14 January 2011 (Friday)

Time : 2 - 3.30pm

Venue : Main Lecture Theatre (MLT)

The GCE 'O' Enrichment talk this Friday is opened to all fresh Nitec students with pass in either GCE 'N' Maths/English to help them build a strong foundation in Maths/English in order to do well in Polytechnics/Higher Nitec. Lessons will be conducted every Friday 2-5pm to prepare them to sit for Oct/Nov 2011 GCE 'O' Examination.

There is a new initiative for 2011 under the new Enrichment Framework in CE, whereby students will be awarded 0.1 cca pts out of maximum 0.2 pts if they have completed more than 100 enrichment hours.

Lifeskills staff will be on hand to advise and brief those interested.

National LifeSaving Day 2011

The main objectives of the National Lifesaving Day is to equip people with lifesaving skills. Besides that, the Organising Committee hopes to break the current Guinness World Record for the most number of people trained in CPR within 24 hours at a chosen venue. On Sunday, 16 January 2011, the organisers hope to train more that 6400 people to achieve a new record for Singapore. As such, the Organisers have make an appeal for all ITE Class Advisors to provide the strong support to help make this event a success.
