Please kindly be informed that "Labour Day" falls on 1st May 2011 which is Sunday.
As such the following Monday on 2nd May 2011, will be a public holiday.

So there is no School on 2nd May 2011, Monday.
See you all back in school on 3rd May 2011 Tuesday.

JAVA MiniProject

Dear All :

Mini Project for JAVA will begin in about 1 to 2 week times.

The Specification and Requirement for Mini Project can be found in this Doc --> MiniPrjDoc

At the meantime, you need to :-

a) Form a team of Max 2 person per group

b) Think of an database JavaSwing Application Project Title that you will like to program

for this Project.

Submit the Above two information to me By next Thursday 5th May 2011.

If you have any queries regarding this MiniProject, feel free to approach me for clarification.

Semester One - Debarment

Please be informed that the Debarment will be conducted next week.
Those students with attendance issue, OR consistently escaping from Lesson,
the System will be capturing your name to be listed in the Debarment.

So, please be more cautious about your attendance to avoided being listed
in the Debarment List by the System.


* Debarment refer to Students with poor attendance OR consistent Truancy
that are captured by the System or by the LT. And the Listed students will
be debared from the Jun 2011 Exam/Assessment from Either JAVA or
IT Essential Module. It means these students are not allowed to take EXAM
and being graded for the affected module, and it means they will not pass the Module
by default.

STAR Attendance - Warning Letter#3

The Star Attendance System will be generating and sending out Warning Letter #3 next week, for those students having poor attendnace.

Please submit all your LEAVE/Passionate Leave, or MC, by this week (21st Apri 2011), for updating,
so to avoid false signal given to the STAR for wrongly sending Warning Letter to
those who have Leave/MC to cover up for those absent days.

PE Lesson Cancellation

Please note that all PE staff will be involved in the Orientation Program - Telematch from 9am - 5pm tomorrow (12 April 2011).

As such, all SW lesson will be cancelled tomorrow. Thanks.

E-Learning Portal (OKIE)

Dear All: Please take note of the Online Knowlegde Interactive Environment (OKIE). The OKIE system will be used to host Video casted during Lesson, as well as other Tutorial Exercise in PDF format. The Video casted during today (and every daily) will be uploaded to the OKIE for your viewing at your own time even at your home. Every Video casted in class, will take about 2 days to be uploaded. As such, every one is required to create a student account in the OKIE System, in order to access these Materials.
