Aspiring to Progress to Higher Nitec after your Nitec course?
Here is the opportunity to realise your dreams!

Application for progression to Higher Nitec courses will open in January 2013. The dates will be published in The Straits Times, The New Paper and on the ITE website after the release of 2012 GCE ‘O’ Levels exam results.

Here are some things to take note before applying (Do consult your class advisor if you need further advice)

1.    Who can apply?

In order to apply for progression to a Higher Nitec course:

1.1      You must be a Nitec graduate or full-time Nitec student in your final term of study with the following minimum GPA score (including CCA bonus) in your Nitec course:

Progression to Higher Nitec Business courses

^ Information on the progression criteria and path will be provided in the ITE website nearer to the start of the intake;

1.2      You must be able to attend classes which will start in Apr 2013; and

1.3      National Service (NS) liable males who wish to pursue full-time ITE courses in 2013 and were born in the year 1992 or earlier (for ITE Graduates seeking progression to Higher Nitec courses) will have to check their eligibility for NS Deferment at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB). Only those who are eligible for NS deferment will be allowed to enroll in the course.

Progression to other Higher Nitec courses
-     Visit the ITE homepage at www.ite.edu.sg, click on “Apply for ITE Courses”, followed by "Application for Full-Time Higher Nitec Courses for April 2013 Intake", and follow the online instructions to submit your application via the internet.
-     Applicants without internet access can use the computers at the ITE Colleges during office hours (Mon to Fri, 8am to 6pm, 8.30am to 1pm on Sat 12 Jan 13) to submit their application.

3.    When will the application results be released?

Application results for progression to Higher Nitec courses will be released on:

-       If you have applied for other Higher Nitec courses, you can check your application outcome via the Internet on the above release date. A step-by-step guide will be provided on the Application Verification Slip (Important: please print and keep the Verification Slip upon submission of your application).

-       If you have applied for courses under the Special Admissions Exercise, as listed on Page 1, you will be notified of your application outcome on the above release date by the ITE College offering the course by post or phone.

The ASME Forum @ ITE CE on 14 Nov 12


The ASME Forum 2012 is co-organised by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME), ITE College East and Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd (e2i).  The ASME Forum is a full-day activity to create awareness and uplift the image of local Small and Medium Enterprises to the ITE students and their parents. The forum will highlight the importance of the role of SMEs in Singapore’s economy and showcase successful SMEs, their growth and employment opportunities.

The ASME Forum comprises of a SME exhibition at the Function Hall and a Forum at LT 2.
# The SME exhibition - will provide career opportunities for students and showcase students’ state-of-the-art industry projects
# At the Forum, guest speakers will share on their entrepreneurship and success stories

Voice of Student Survey 2012


1) Arising from the I-QAF assessors' recommendations, ITE is launching the 'Voice of Student' survey 2012 to solicit students' feedback on course content and structure, learning environment, student services and other aspects pertaining to the quality of learning. This survey will be conducted once every 2 years.

2)  The 'Voice of Student' survey will be targeted at 2nd year students from the 5111 and 5114 intakes and students from 1-year courses from the 5121 intake only. The findings of the survey will provide inputs for continuous improvement of our courses and learning environment to enrich the learning experience of students.

3) The survey is conducted electronically and will be opened from 22 Oct to 23 Nov 2012 for students to provide their feedback. It can be accessed through the following web address: http://esurvey.ite.edu.sg/esurveyadmin/  Students would need to enter both a user ID and password. Please be advised  to enter your NRIC e.g. S1234567A for both the user ID and password.
